Marla Keenan-Rivero is a lifelong resident of Sonoma County and a graduate of Rancho Cotate High School. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994 and a Juris Doctorate from Empire School of Law in 1999. In 2002 she joined the offices of Perry Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz LLP, and in 2011 became the firm’s first woman partner.
Mrs. Keenan-Rivero has focused her practice on Family Law since being admitted to the California Bar in 1999. In 2012 Marla Keenan-Rivero was certified by the California State Bar as a Family Law Specialist (CFLS).
In order to become a CFLS, an attorney must demonstrate a high level of knowledge and experience in family law. This includes passing a separate bar examination on family law and receiving recommendations and positive reviews from judges and/or their peers. The certification given the California State Bar ensures that you will have a highly qualified attorney working every aspect of your family law matter.
